Our automatic storage system for roll media is absolutely innovative: It saves employees time when picking up and delivering rolls. And it saves storage space. Here are two example configurations.

The highlight: With it, the rolls are stored in a block warehouse in an extremely compact manner, sorted into certain areas according to diameter and, most importantly, stored vertically. This is far more compact than a shelf setup with identical gross area and normal gripping height would allow for.

For large warehouses: Portal system

In this example, around 2,300 rolls can be stored on a gross area of 116 square meters (including the frame and transfer stations), depending on the roll diameter.

Automatic storage system – portal system

Total length: 14.50 m
Total width: 8.00 m
Total height: 5.30 m

Roll capacity: approx. 2,350
Robot capacity: 120 cycles per hour
Delivery and return: 7 trolleys with 10 rolls each

For small warehouses: Industrial robot

In this examplary configuration, around 830 rolls can be stored on a gross area of 60 square meters (including the frame and transfer stations).

Automatic storage system – Industrial robot

Total length: 7.50 m
Total width: 7.50 m
Total height: 5.00 m

Roll capacity: total of approx. 830
Robot capacity: 120 cycles per hour
Delivery and return: 3 trolleys with 10 rolls each, given 1-2 transfer stations
